People say you show more quickly with the second pregnancy, and though I’ve heard them say that, I guess I never put any real thought into it. I have a very long torso and didn’t show with my first child until about 6 months. I wore my normal clothes well into my 4th month without a problem. Hmm…not happening this time. I’m 11 weeks right now and though I can still get my work pants buttoned, they leave big red imprints in my hips from trying to hold my expanding hips into my normal pants. I’m certainly not ready for maternity, as I’ve got no real baby bump, just spreading hips.

At a loss for what to do, I went for searching for a better solution than rubber bands and safety pins. That’s when I stumbled across Ingrid and Isabel’s BellaBand. After perusing the online reviews, all positive, I scurried to my local preggo shop to pick up a couple. Today is my first day sporting the BellaBand and I LOVE it!! Essentially a spandex tube top for your pants, I’m able to leave my pants unbuttoned and I simply pull the BellaBand over my buttons to keep the front of my pants looking smooth and ready to wear. I purchased two, one in white and one in black. The white is going to work out beautifully because if the white band peaks out from under my shirt, it simply looks like I’m wearing a tank top under my shirt. So cool!
