I love it, too. But it kinda creeps me out that Dove is trying to horrify us and sell us their products simultaneously. They want me to think: Because I agree that the beauty industry is excessive, I should buy Dove products.
Not sure if I agree that there’s a genuine connection, there.
While I like it, I wish there was something that addresses the Daddy Daughter angle. So much of a young girls self esteem rests in her relationship with her Father.
When a company gets it right like this, I want to tell everyone that they need to support them by buying their goods.
My 13 year old was just telling me how hard it is to be “her” last night. I remember those feelings all too well. It seemed like I was stuck in a decade of puberty when I was that age!
I liked the old one with the ‘real women’ in their favorite cut of underwear too.
